Mind Your Business

This is what happened when you tried to answer a question that was never really asked.

You feel caught off guard, but who told you to take on a responsibility of which you were never really tasked.

Everyone pretends that my language is clear to them when it has always been fully masked.

No sooner than I speak does a person tangentially related think they are part of the conversation.

I expressed my support for a Traveler that detailed her plight while briefly mentioning the sins of another nation.

So then of course a citizen of that homeland felt honor bound to excoriate me with her racist participation.

Then two uninspiring men polished their knight's armor thinking they would be welcomed with a standing ovation.

Feigning a slip of the tongue to make a hideous point got your influence within my silo banished.

The two busy bodies that wanted to run some kind of chivalrous interference with one button I made vanish.

Little girl, was it ever your place to regulate my political ire with the worst case of false equivalency.

What other person has lent more a compassionate ear to religions, ethnicities, and worldview since me?

Now all of a sudden you are going to expound upon historical world evil and all its manifold complexity?

The added midfield of cryptic speech is that sweet people I admire think I'm putting them down.

Communication is not not enhanced when codebreaking happens millions of miles outside of your town.

That is why I make points that are sharp enough for the intended audience but still intentionally vague.

This all kicked off because I chose to speak against the hateful excess of a president that should be tried in the Hague.

From that point a bunch of ears selectively keyed in on one or two words and multiplied their opinion like the plague.

I get accused of stalking high profile personalities, when it happens the other way around, life is the craziest stage.

If you run a foul of anything supported by youth culture they will unceremoniously remind you of your age.

If I happen to be an uncomfortable chapter in your book, examine the speed of how quickly you turn a page.

Why would I ever attend anger management when I produce such exquisite and provocative rage.

Half of concerned voices think screens alter personalities, the other half think they lead to mental enslavement.

There is only one sign I offer to those who question if they are in my good graces, it is called my engagement.
